Mint-X Indoor Tall Kitchen 13 Gallon Bags With Rodent Repellent
Product overview: Mint-X’s Rodent Repellent Technology provides a humane solution to deter rodents while maintaining bag strength. The Mint-Flex technology offers superior stretch for tight fitting use and easy drawstring closure. Mint essential oils help neutralize odors to keep kitchens smelling fresh while repelling pests. Best for: households seeking strong interior use with a scent that acts as a deterrent for foraging rodents. Limitation: odor effectiveness is fragrance-based and may vary with ambient conditions.
Mint-X MintFlex Tall Kitchen Drawstring Bags
Product overview: This Mint-X variant emphasizes Mint-Flex stretching for everyday and heavy cleaning needs, with a drawstring for quick sealing. The mint oils help neutralize odors and deter pests near the trash area. Best for: users who want a lower-profile 13-gallon option with a tighter fit and drawstring control. Limitation: a smaller count relative to other packs means more frequent replacements for high-volume spaces.
Mint-X Outdoor Rodent Repellent 33 Gallon Bags
Product overview: Engineered for outdoor use, these 33-gallon bags combine Mint-Flex durability with rodent repellent technology to deter wildlife in outdoor trash areas. Best for: exterior bins, sheds, and garages where pests are more likely to forage. Limitation: larger bag size may be overkill for small- to mid-sized indoor trash needs.
Mint-X Flat Seal Trash Bags, 46″ x 33″ (MX3346XHB)
Product overview: These flat-seal bags feature botanically-derived essential oils to repel rodents and keep odors in check. The flat seal helps prevent leaks and odors from escaping. Best for: environments where leak prevention is necessary and where a flat-seal configuration is preferred. Limitation: flat seal may be less convenient if you need a secure drawstring closure for outdoor use.
Mint-X MX4046XHB Rodent Repellent Trash Bags
Product overview: This 1.3 mil bag is EPA registered and features Mint oils to repel raccoons, rats, and other rodents. The flat seal design helps prevent leaks while maintaining a mint-scented environment. Best for: spaces where environmental safety and pest deterrence are priorities. Limitation: flat seal, while leak-resistant, may be less convenient for heavy-duty tote-style handling in high-traffic areas.
Mint-X Rodent Repellent 58″ x 38″ Clear Bags
Product overview: A larger 58″ x 38″ bag designed to handle substantial outdoor or commercial trash loads with rodent-repellent properties and mint oils. Best for: larger outdoor bins or commercial scenarios where space and pest deterrence are both critical. Limitation: greater size may require more storage space and may not fit smaller cans or containers.
Buying Guide
What to consider when choosing pest-deterrent trash bags:
- Where you’ll use them: indoor versus outdoor needs, and the size of your trash container.
- Bag durability: thickness and seal type matter for leak resistance and handling.
- Odor control vs. deterrence: scented mint oils help odors but effectiveness depends on pest activity and ventilation.
- Environmental impact: EPA registration indicates a recognized approach to pest deterrence with plant-derived ingredients.
- Convenience features: drawstrings for easy sealing, flat seals for leak prevention, and bag stretch (Mint-Flex) for fit and strength.
