Welcome to mycleaningtool.com. We value transparency and want you to understand how this site is supported. This Affiliate Disclosure explains our participation in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates Program, how we may earn commissions, and what that means for the product information and recommendations you find here.
What affiliate links are
An affiliate link is a special URL that tracks referrals when you click through and make a purchase. When you use one of those links to buy a product, the merchant (for example, Amazon or other retailers) may pay mycleaningtool.com a small commission at no extra cost to you. These earnings help fund research, testing, web hosting, and the creation of free, helpful content about cleaning tools and supplies.
Programs we participate in
- Amazon Associates Program — mycleaningtool.com is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program. This means we may earn fees from qualifying purchases made through links to Amazon.
- Other affiliate programs — We may also participate in affiliate programs offered by manufacturers, retailers, and industry partners. These relationships allow us to link readers to reliable places to buy recommended cleaning tools.
How commissions are earned
When you click an affiliate link on mycleaningtool.com, a tracking cookie is placed that attributes the sale to our site. If you complete a purchase within the program’s specified timeframe, we may receive a commission. Commissions do not increase the price you pay.
Our editorial independence
We maintain editorial control over all content. Recommendations, reviews, buying guides, and how-to articles are based on hands-on testing, experience, research, and comparisons. Compensation from affiliate programs does not influence the products we choose to recommend. If a product is listed or reviewed here, it reflects our genuine opinion and evaluation.
How we evaluate products
- Hands-on testing: When possible, we use and test cleaning tools ourselves to assess performance, durability, and ease of use.
- Research: We consult manufacturer specifications, professional reviews, and user feedback.
- Practical experience: Our recommendations reflect real-world cleaning scenarios and best practices.
What we don’t do
- We do not accept payment in exchange for positive reviews.
- We do not hide when links are affiliate links.
- We do not recommend products solely because they offer higher commissions.
