Buying Guide
What scale should I consider?
For most miniature sets, 1:12 scale (Dollhouse size) is standard. Verify each item’s stated scale to ensure a natural look within your scene. If you need larger office humor or full-sized novelty gifts, prioritize items marketed for adults rather than miniatures.
Which materials offer the best balance of realism and safety?
Rubber and plastic miniatures provide durability for desk decor and play. For display in dollhouses, fabric or paper-based minis can reduce sharp edges and blend with other props. When gifting, consider the recipient’s environment to avoid choking hazards for small children.
Is eco-friendliness important?
If sustainability matters, bulk recycled toilet paper from reputable brands offers environmental benefits. For novelty or display purposes, eco-conscious choices may be less critical than visual appeal or scale accuracy.
How many pieces do I need?
Desk decor and small gift sets benefit from 5–10 pieces for variety, while larger dollhouse setups may require more to populate scenes. Always compare the intended display area with the item’s size and quantity.
What are common limitations to expect?
Miniature props may be nonfunctional and made for display. Some sets have scale-specific limitations, such as fabric-based pieces that aren’t suitable for heavy handling. Always check recommended ages and supervision notes for children.
